Volunteers receive a free chicken dinner served after race (2:30-3 p.m.)

Volunteer opportunities

Registration - help with check in, passing out swag, answer questions, giving directions

Race start - direct traffic, herd racers to start line, answer questions

Bethesda Walk & Roll - Start line, trail guides, finish line

Paddle portage - assist boaters out of water and assist with reentering water

Paddle end - assist boats out of water, help carry boats to land

Transition to bike - guide from water to bike area, make sure teams transition chip timing correctly

Bike - transition guides in bike corral, 3 roundabout guides, answer questions

Bike to run transition - water and fruit stop, guide teams and solos

Run route - guides along way

Run to obstacle transition - guide teams and solos

Finish line - hand out bag hop, pass out water and fruit

Food - serve chicken dinners

Clean up - show up and we will put you to work cleaning up - we will feed you lunch.
